About Us

We are a small family-owned business based in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. We started off as a sole trader in 1987 doing interstate work from Victoria before moving to Mt Isa, registering the Archer's Trading name in December 2001, we formed a family partnership in 2004 operating from Mt.Isa before moving to Townsville in 2009. 
We have many years of experience in local, intrastate & interstate haulage (Swaggie since 1985 & Mozzie since 2000), covering a range of freight types including - Bulk Dangerous Goods, Containers, Refridgerated, General, Over Dimensional, Tipper (side & end) and Parcel freight, in a variety of vehicle combinations from Body trucks to Quad Road Train units.
Our services include semi-trailers for local, long distance or interstate trips along with us holding a Labour Hire Licence enabling us to assist other local operators when they are short on drivers or when around the clock shifts are required.
